Serving our community for a decade
I’ve been a Knebworth resident since 2009 when I moved here from London with my young family, looking for a smaller community to live in that had access to the countryside but with good transport links and closer to family.

MY STORY
I’m a keen walker, exploring our beautiful countryside around us. Post-Covid we got a gorgeous Labrador and I now spend a lot more time dog walking too. I have also been a team manager and coach at Datchworth Rugby Club as my son was progressing through the Mini and Youth sections. I work in data and analytics in London for a bank, having regularly commuted into London with a season ticket every day for a decade pre-Covid.
I originally joined the Parish Council in 2015 when I wanted to contribute more to our community and was particularly concerned about the impact of the proposed new developments. My two biggest achievements on that have been leading the work to develop Knebworth Neighbourhood Plan, which is now in place. As well as that I was involved with the SOSPUB campaign group and subsequently the Parish Council’s project team to buy and renovate The Station public house.
In May 2024 I stood as one of two Liberal Democrat candidates in the North Herts Council elections for Knebworth ward and I’m proud to say I was elected to represent our community. Since then I’ve been helping people with local issues and representing us on the council.
